For good reasons, barbed wire is known as “The Devil’s Rope”. Most likely because entanglements defend strategically with tightly knit rows of barbs. This concludes in the slowing of any driving charges from enemy ranks. Notably, entanglements pin down opposition forces whilst they fend off a bombardment of shell fire.
Barbed razor wire is also used to contain or protect an area. Notably used in prisoner of war camps and garrison of high value buildings and objectives.
This product is 5 meters in length (uncoiled) double wrapped wire that is the perfect scale for 1/35 (28–40mm) miniatures, dioramas, tabletop war games and model railway. The unpainted version arrives in large loops, allowing the hobbyist to coil the length around a suitable sized cylinder for the scale they wish to achieve, or simply string along a length of fencing. The pre-painted and weathered version will arrive coiled and protected by a capped tube.
